This website contains various midi files for the recorder. The accompaniments
provide an opportunity for students to play along at home with a steady
beat. These songs are recorded in two different styles with four different
tempos for each so that students may choose a slow tempo when first learning
the song and then faster tempos as they become proficient.
Each song begins with a two measure metronome click followed by a two measure
musical indroduction. Most songs are repeated two or three times with a
two measure interlude in between repeats.
This website was funded by the EAST MEADOW SCHOOL DISTRICT Cooperative
Curriculum Area Program, East Meadow, NY. The original site was constructed
during July and August 2001 and upgraded during July - September 2002.
