Welcome to Bowling Green Elementary School’s website.  Our school serves students in Kindergarten through fifth grade, with a Pre-Kindergarten program offered in the spring.  We provide a supportive and nurturing environment for our students, in an effort to meet their individual needs as learners in all academic realms, as well as in the areas of behavioral and emotional growth. 

Bowling Green Elementary School students benefit from a dedicated, experienced staff that maintains high expectations for all students.  Our students are exposed to Balanced Literacy initiatives with the support and guidance of a highly talented, well respected AUSSIE staff developer.  Our art, music, and physical education programs allow our students to develop and demonstrate their many talents.  Students identified as gifted are provided with the opportunity to participate in our QUEST program in grades four and five.  Additionally, all Bowling Green students have access to the latest instructional technology.  There are computers in every classroom, multi-media materials and equipment, a state of the art computer network with internet access, two fully equipped computer labs, as well as a Video-Conference Room and twenty-eight SmartBoards located in classrooms throughout the building.

Bowling Green Elementary School has the support of a very active PTA.  The PTA works to develop strong partnerships with teachers, parents, administrators, and the local community.  Our students thoroughly benefit from these partnerships.  We encourage you to join the PTA and become even more active in your child’s education.
